We cater for groups as small as 12, right up to 40!
What is included with the 'Oh So Sweet' tea party? Do we need to bring anything?
Oh So Sweet Occasions tea parties are designed to make your life as easy as possible; we'll being the afternoon tea, you bring the company! Our full 'Oh So Sweet' tea parties include:
The only thing we ask you to provide is somewhere to plug in a kettle! You will also need to consider table and seating arrangements for guests. We do also have one fold-up table which we can bring along, if required. Just ask us when you make your booking!
- dressing your table with vintage tea sets, cake stands, pretty tablecloths, napkins and cutlery;
- a selection of finger sandwiches, cakes, tea, coffee and lemonade;
- a playlist of nostalgic music;
- fresh flowers and decorations;
- a selection of photo props;
- a tea lady to stay at the chosen venue to serve tea and help to look after guests; and
- clearing away after the tea party has finished.

Where do you host your afternoon tea parties?
Essentially the very idea of an Oh So Sweet Occasions afternoon tea party is that we come to you - your home, a function room or an office space! We are very adaptable to all kinds of spaces, no matter how big or small. If you're looking for an external venue we can recommend a space to host your event privately in.
We are a mobile service and provide afternoon tea parties around Waterford City and County, Kilkenny and some parts of East Cork, Tipperary and Wexford (up to an hour away from Waterford City).

Can we have our own champagne, gin, cocktails...?
Yes! We're happy for you to bring along your own prosecco, gin cocktails etc... and we can serve these either in our teacups or champagne saucers.

How long do the tea parties last?
On average each tea party lasts around 1.5 hours to give you and your guests enough time to relax and enjoy the experience.
If you are hiring a space then in addition to the tea party you will also need to allow some time for set-up and clearing away afterwards.

Are you insured?
Yes! We're registered with the HSE and insured through Pike Insurance Services.
Can you cater for specific dietary requirements?
Yes! The afternoon tea party menu can be adapted to suit dietary requirements. Just tell us more about your dietary requirements at the time of booking.
How do I book?
All you need to do is fill out the contact form, from that we will come back to you with availability.
We ask for a non-refundable €50 deposit to secure your date and tea party, and the remaining balance will be due a week before your tea party.
